For all Java Applications, the Opsclarity JMX plugin can collect metrics. Since JMX is disabled by default, you'll need to enable the JMX plugin in the Opsclarity UI as follows:
Select a service from the topological map, then click on Configure. Under the Configure Data Sources tab, click on the Source Type drop down selector to add the JMX data source.
When you start the Java Application, use the following command line options to enable JMX:
Install JConsole on your computer and connect to the aforementioned host and port. You should be able to view all Mbeans.
